The Cloverdale Minor Baseball Association (CMBA) and the Rangers High Performance Program are pleased to release the General Information Package for the 2026 season. This package outlines the financial and time commitments required for players selected to any of the six Rangers HP teams.
Below are the key details regarding upcoming tryouts, registration requirements, and costs.
2026 Tryout Schedules
Please note: Dates and times are subject to change. Arrive 15 minutes prior to start times.
- 13U AAA & AA (Pee Wee): Runs from January 11th through January 20th.
- Sessions will be held at the Cloverdale Batting Cage and Apex Football Academy.
- Player selection for both AAA and AA will be determined by Rangers Coaching Staff (12 players per team).
- 15U AAA & AA (Bantam): Runs from January 11th through January 17th.
- Sessions include dates at Apex Football Academy and the Cloverdale Batting Cage.
- 18U AAA & College Prep (Midget): Runs from January 11th through January 17th.
- Sessions include dates at Apex Football Academy and the Cloverdale Batting Cage.
Mandatory Registration Steps
To participate in tryouts, you MUST complete the following steps:
- Email Registration: Send an email to Dave Palmer at
rangersbbdp@gmail.comincluding the player’s name, complete home address, and the division/level(s) they are trying out for. - CMBA Registration: You must be registered with CMBA for the Spring Baseball Season prior to attending tryouts. Registration lists will be cross-referenced.
- Tryout Fee: There is a $10 tryout fee (CASH ONLY) to cover facility and coaching costs. Please bring this on the first day of tryouts.
Out-of-Catchment & Eligibility
- Newton Residents: Newton Minor Baseball has ceased operations. If you live in the Newton catchment, you are considered a free agent for the 2026 season, do not require a release, and are not considered an import player.
- Other Associations: Players residing outside the CMBA boundaries (excluding Newton) must have a tryout release (Rule 6.02 for 13U/15U).
- If approved by your home association, the approval must be emailed to
eligibility@bcminorbaseball.org. - 18U AAA players must provide their home association 5 days’ notice in writing.

Season Costs & Uniforms
The information package includes detailed cost breakdowns for each team, including registration fees, team fees, and uniform costs.
- Team Fees: Ranging from $900 (13U AA) to $3100 (College Prep), payable via e-transfer with a 50% deposit due upon selection.
- Uniforms: Mandatory items cost approximately $350. Returning players may reuse items that are not damaged.
