Bob Foerster
General Manager
Hired by Cloverdale Minor Baseball Association in November 2022, Bob is the first General Manager for the Cloverdale Rangers Baseball and oversees the progress and the development of the Rangers program. Bob’s focus is to build an environment for athletes to compete, learn and thrive at the next level, while working with like-minded people to help athletes reach their own goals and aspirations.
Before accepting the role of General Manager, Bob was the Head Coach of the 18U Cloverdale Nationals College Prep team where he served as Head Coach for 4 seasons. In that time, Bob developed and helped over 20 graduating players with college baseball opportunities. Bob’s mentor of coaching stems from his time playing against LC State and remembers Coach Ed Cheff. Coach Cheff expectations of playing the game the right way and leading by example is the corner stone of Bob’s beliefs, both as a coach and as the GM.
An infielder and catcher by trade, Bob played for the University of British Columbia from 2007-2011 and played for Kwantlen University prior to the 2007 season. After graduating from UBC, Bob played for the Northern District Reds in Adelaide, South Australia, and the Langley Sr. Blaze where he is a two-time Senior Men’s National Champion and a 3-time Senior Men’s Provincial Champion.

Mike Dance
18U College Prep Head Coach
Mike serves as our College Prep Head Coach and also led our 18U 3A Midget program. Since taking over the College Prep team in 2025, he has built teams grounded in hard work, discipline, and strong fundamentals—allowing athletes to play with confidence and freedom.
Originally from Alberta, Mike played his high school baseball in White Rock before moving directly into coaching, a path he has followed with passion for more than two decades. He and his family have lived in Cloverdale for 19 years.
A former President of the Cloverdale Minor Baseball Association, Mike has been a key contributor to Cloverdale baseball for over 14 years. His teams have earned Provincial Championships at 15U AA Bantam, 18U AAA Midget, and most recently the 2025 College Prep Provincials. He also guided his group to the 2025 18U Canadian National Championship, adding to an already impressive coaching résumé. In 2022, he was named BC Minor’s 18U Coach of the Year.
Influenced by MLB managers Joe Maddon and Mike Scioscia, Mike emphasizes controllables, mental clarity, and playing the game the right way—helping athletes stay relaxed, focused, and ready to perform.
Cam Frick
Director or Baseball and Coaching Development, 13U 3A Head Coach
Cam was hired by Cloverdale Rangers in July 2025 as the Director of Baseball and Coach Development and Head Coach of the 13U 3A.
A strong advocate for long-term athlete development, Cam emphasizes skill progression, personal growth, and a team-first culture where players are excited to hit the field. A North Delta native, Cam played for the North Delta Blue Jays (2009–2011), earning Junior PBL MVP and Senior Rookie of the Year honors. He began coaching in 2011 with Richmond’s 15U and 18U AAA programs before founding the Delta Bantam AAA program in 2014. Over 10 seasons, he led the club to eight Provincial titles, a Western Canadian Championship, and three straight 15U AAA National Championships (2022–2024). He also serves as a Baseball BC 15U Selects coach and previously coached with BC Minor Baseball’s Selects program.
Chris Mills
18U 3A Midget Head Coach
Chris will be taking on the role of the Midget AAA coach this season where he was an assistant with the team the previous year. He brings with him a love of the game and vast knowledge of the sport from his years of coaching at the highest levels from Tadpole summer ball through to Bantam AAA.
Chris has been a member of the Cloverdale baseball association for over 17 years. He has had three of his children play their entire minor baseball in Cloverdale with his fourth still actively participating in the sport in the U13 A division.
Chris has been coaching both baseball and hockey teams for the past 30 years within the Cloverdale community, Surrey and Delta. He has coached both at the rep and house levels in both sports with a strong emphasis on teaching the fundamentals of the game while creating a competitive but fun environment.
Chris’s goal with coaching young players of any sport is to teach and promote team and hard work while building a love of the game.
Jakob Iversen
15U 3A Bantam Head Coach
Jakob’s roots are deep-seated in Cloverdale Baseball. With 10 years playing for CMBA under his belt and collegiate career at Yuba College (CA), Jakob carries a strong understanding of what makes a ballplayer successful on and off the field.
His coaching experience includes leading individual and group training at ProVision Athletics (10U–13U). His work at ProVision is highlighted by head coaching their 11U team to a Triple Crown Final appearance and assisting with several other teams. Most recently, Jakob contributed as an assistant coach with the White Rock Tritons 15U PBL team which has helped sharpen his abilities to support athletes through key stages of their development.
In his own words, Jakob is “committed to bringing high energy, structure, and a player-first mentality to the Rangers program, with a focus on building confident, skilled, and resilient athletes.” In addition, his goal is to “emphasize fundamentals, situational awareness, and nurture love for the game—ensuring every player becomes better, on and off the diamond while creating a year of baseball that the players will never forget!”
John Parker
Pitching Coordinator
John Parker brings over 30 years of coaching experience to the Cloverdale Rangers High‑Performance program, where he serves as our Pitching Coordinator. A Cloverdale resident since 1986, John spent 17 years with the Cloverdale Minor Baseball Association in roles ranging from President to coach, and later guided multiple BC teams to Provincial and Canadian Championships, including 13 seasons in the BC Premier Baseball League.
A multi‑sport athlete himself, John won four Provincial and one Canadian Championship in soccer, along with a Provincial title in baseball. His coaching philosophy—shaped by mentor John Haar—emphasizes developing great athletes first, encouraging players to participate in multiple sports.
A lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, John lives by the mantra:
“Be the best you can be and get better every day.”
Dave Palmer
Logistics and Financial Controller
Dave was a board and Executive member of the Cloverdale Minor Baseball Association for 8 years and has lived in the Cloverdale community since 2006. An avid fan of youth baseball and photography you will usually see Dave on the sidelines taking the photos that are shared on our social media sites and shared with player families. When not taking photos, Dave manages all of the administrative work for the Rangers program, which includes but not limited to scheduling, budgeting, and everything in between. Dave has been managing baseball teams for over 10 years.
